Teijin
Teijin was born in 33,046 D.A (Dimensional Age). Since 0 D.A, beings in Teijin's realm had the ability to cross dimensions (between worlds) and teleport. Teijin's people never died of old age.
At around 8.000s D.A, Vonizio went on a rampage, killing, or turning most of the dwellers on Teijin's world, when they were at a ceremony that all people on the world were required to attend. Vonizio went mad because it was used as experiment, instead of being revered (treated how samurai treat their swords).
Over 99.99% of the population was killed by Vonizio, or turned into monstrosities. There were fewer than 100 survivors.
Vonizio used a type of virus, that made the infected stronger, but evil and wanting to kill and destroy everything. The virus infected all types of living organism, even plants. Most microscopic organisms were killed.
Teijin was one of the world's 10 warlords. He decided to take the sword away from the world, in the hope that it would restore the world to it's original state.
But no, the world remained as forever cursed. Only about 20 people, including Teijin survived. Of the warlords, around 7 were turned, and about 3 survived.
After that, Teijin traveled to the realm of Sentan Funbetsu. There, he tried to understand that world's language. After about 6 years, he went into politics, and became a president of one of the countries.
348 years later, Teijin was the director of CRTech. At that time, the head scientist went to where Vonizio was enshrined, and took it for experimentation. After 2 years of experimentation, the dimensional powers of Vonizio were discovered, and used to make a dimensional machine.
During the alpha test of the experimental dimensional machine, Vonizio tried to destroy the CRTech building, but it was prevented by one of the scientists, who threw Vonizio through the dimensional machine, into Ragcolf's timeline, causing the tragedy where Ragcolf became a void dweller.
TODO: Add that story.
But before disappearing into Ragcolf's timeline, the sword tweaked the dimensional machine, causing it to form a portal to Teijin's homeworld. From that portal came many monstrosities, of the former dwellers, and newly infected organisms.
In one day, the capital of Teijin's country crumbled. After this disaster, Teijin lead the opposition against the infected.
This is where the ides and battlezone stories diverge.
in Battlezone storyline, at first Teijin hold back and don't want to reveal his true power. This goes on for a week which makes the infected able to get their roots of power toward the planet and major outbreak goes on toward the whole planet. Teijin then uses his true power to help fighting off the infected, but too late, the infected had set it roots.. After 35 years of fighting, the infected was pushed back to where it cames from and Teijin was able to destroy the dimensional machine.
The planet has lost over 75% of its natural resources and about 90 % of its total population. exactly 65 % of the planet has also been turned to barren wasteland still dwelled by the infected, fortunately they are not as agressive than the others. Then as a retribution, Teijin goes on to teach what left of the population what he knows and way to survive and of course he also shared technology which materials coincidentally also availabe in that planet. after about 160 years, The population strived and managed to develop space travelling technology and colonization of another planet. Teijin then remembered about vonizio and then decided to leave Sentan Funbetsu and look for Vonizio.
For 55 years he looks relentlessly for the Vonizio until he goes to Ragcolf's original realm which he find traces of Vonizio. After few years, he tracked Grun, the current wielder of Vonizio, and attacked him and putting a seal on him which causes Grun's powers disables one by one.
Ragcolf
In the ides story, a portal suddenly appears, and Ragcolf appears from it, seeking the truth about the destruction of his homeworld.
There, he met Shizuka (roleplayed by Equasian), who gave him tea with sleeping poison in it, which weakened him. When he arrived at Sentan Funbetsu, the poison finally caught him, but Teijin arrived with several soldiers and rescued him from the infected who were closing in.
The next day Ragcolf woke up, and was greeted by Teijin. After some talk, Ragcolf realized that CRTech had been the cause of his homeworld's destruction. In a fit of anger, Ragcolf decided to leave the world to it's doom, for some other person to save.
But, Teijin managed to convince him to help with destroying the dimensional machine.
So, Ragcolf headed to CRTech with 100 soldiers. All of the soldiers were killed, but Ragcolf managed to defeat all the enemies. Finally, Ragcolf reached the dimensional machine, and was able to go through the portal to see the world where the infected came from.
There, Ragcolf only saw a barren wasteland, with a red atmosphere and some other infected organisms. Then Ragcolf returned to Sentan Funbetsu through the portal, and destroyed the dimensional machine.
Then, Ragcolf returned to the fort, where Teijin and the others were taking refuge. Ragcolf spoke with Teijin, who then revealed his name and job (director of CRTech). Ragcolf was angered and tried to attack Teijin only to see everyone inside the base pointing their weapons at him.
Ragcolf was thrown into a cell, and was interrogated by Teijin. Teijin was amazed that Ragcolf had spoken to Vonizio, because Vonizio rarely revealed information to anyone, not even Teijin and the others. Ragcolf was the first. At this time, Teijin decided that he would travel with Ragcolf.
Ragcolf had a childhood friend(girlfriend), but she died.
Battlezone differences
- Grun's character exists
- Ragcolf died, and was succeeded by Grun
- He won't be able to pass on, until Grun masters Naravana. He is an illogical existance, and is able to move freely between heaven, hell, and the living world. Grun can't learn Naravana by himself, he needs Ragcolf to train him.
- Ragcolf needs to gather essence, before he can appear in the physical world.
- Heaven and hell are based on Disgaea (heaven is celestia, hell is nether world)
- Dead can be called from the afterlife if they are needed urgently by the living.
- Teijin doesn't know that Vonizio can evolve into Besparonos
- Teijin is stalking Grun, and wants to retrieve Vonizio from him, so that it can be sealed permanently.
- Vonizio might rage again one day. For instance if Grun dies without a successor. In this case, Vonizio would probably transfer itself to the nearest sentient beings, or portal into another dimension. Only someone like Teijin can stop Vonizio.
- Ragcolf trained, even after death, to become more powerful.
Void Dwellers
Void dwellers are beings who live in Void Space. They have no natural lifespan limit, but they can be killed. Void dwellers have the ability to create portals and use magic. Once a being (human or other sentient) becomes a void dweller, they stop aging, although body processes like growing hair still continue.
Void Dweller's are able to control void space. For instance, twisting the space, causing it to hit material things (living, or even viruses), to absorb energy from them.
Void dwellers are able to heal faster insideo void space. Their life force replenishes by itself, similar to mana/mp.
Void Space
Void space is a the realm of nothingness where Void Dwellers live. Void Space is pitch black and has no gravity, similar to outer space.
Grun
Grun is Ragcolf's successor. When Ragcolf died, he passed on all his knowledge and abilities to Grun. He also passed on Vonizio's soul, which then became sealed in Grun, as it was in Ragcolf before.
Grun was formerly just a mere normal human. Son of a blacksmith. One day, his house was raided by a group of bandits who killed his parents and almost killed him if only Ragcolf had not suddenly appeared and saved him. then Ragcolf became his mentor and teach him how to defend himself against this kind of thing. Unfortunately, Ragcolf succumbed to his wounds and died causing the seal transfer to Grun. One day, Grun opens a portal and meets shun and have a bit of fight, but eventually they reconcile and become friends. This friendship was proven when Shun was attacked and was forced to return to binary field, and hten got attacked and sucked by Zodom, where Grun and the others Fiercely try to defeat Zodom and saved Shun.
Soon after that Grun goes to an war-torn realm which one of the lord there was his friend. He fought against other lords which attacked his friend and after sometime, he and his friend managed to defeat them. Soon, he was suspicious on a presence of people entering the realm where shun lives and decided to check, but when he open a portal, Teijin suddenly ambushes him, wounding Grun and put a seal on him. Grun barely escapes and then soon realized that his powers were starting to malfunction. Then after somewhile his powers were sealed shut but not before he manages to summon Veyjath for self-defence. Soon Teijin found him and they have a clash which Teijin retreated because Grun's friends are coming in. then Grun feels that the seal is weakening and he regain a little bit of his sealed powers.
Although Grun gained Ragcolf's knowledge, he still has to train to be able to use them effectively.
Grun has these main abilities:
- Sword skills
- Void Dweller abilities
- Magic, including:
- Tracing and reinforcement (similar to Emiya Shirou from Fate Stay Night). He can also sense the internal structure of machines, and use this information to repair them.
- Summoning
Summoned creatures
Grun has the ability to use portals to summon creatures from other dimensions.
Uffernis
Uffernis are a type of wolf demon, that live in hell. Usually they are controlled by the king of hell. When Grun summons them, his portals appear in their spawning nest, and then he uses magic (chanting) to control them. If Grun's magic were to expire, they would run back into their portal, rather than attacking him.
If Uffernis are killed, they will simply regenerate.
Uffernis are the main type of creature summoned by Grun.
Other summoned creatures
- Firebirds
- Golems
- Garuda
- Dragons (through pacts)
Swords
Vonizio
A mysterious artifact of unknown origins. It has existed for a very very very long time. It has a soul, a vast intelligence, and a crazy temper. It's personality is almost completely evil.
It has several powers, that can't be explained by logical means:
- The power to cut through (almost) anything
- Elemental damage (all types)
- Ability to manipulate it's surroundings (twisting time and dimensions)
- Telekinetic powers
- Talks (telepathically or verbally, at certain times only)
- Invincible aura (a shield). It can be broken (with great force), despite the name.
- Instant teleportation
Vonizio was split into 6 swords:
- Vulcanix
- Lyarasinthus
- Strijord
- Arnusig
- Bonilus
- Cegrudacha
These swords can be refused. The first four can be used to form the sword of magic, Veyjath. Veyjath can be fused with the last two, to re-form Vonizio.
When all six swords are combined, Vonizio is unsealed. It's soul will become fused into the 6 swords, with an enormous explosion. Then, you will have to to defeat Vonizio.
The untamed Vonizio can be fought in battle, and if it is defeated, it becomes tamed, and evolves into Besparonos. It can be fought multiple times, but it becomes stronger each time.
It would take Shun, and the rest of the party from At 2 to defeat the sword. Even a full Replekia blast couldn't completely destroy Vonizio; it would take another shot to force the sword to surrender.
Sometimes Vonizio becomes sharper, depending on it's wielder. Sometimes, it is even strong enough to defeat Narvana.
Bonilus
One of the 6 component swords of Vonizio. It wants to stop Vonizio from destroying. This sword also made Ragcolf into a void dweller.
Besparonos
Besparonos is the evolved form of Vonizio.
Besparonos is the evolved (and tamed) form of Vonizio. It is created by fighting and defeating Vonizio. After Vonizio evolves to this form, fusing of the 6 swords will always form Besparonos. Besparonos is the light version of Vonizio. It's personality is neutral. It does what it's wielder tells it.
Besparonos also has Vonizio's powers, but toned down.
Besparonos has the power of creation. It can perform alchemy, and behaves like a Philosopher's stone. These powers are not for free however. Using this power will consume the wielder's life force.
So far, this sword's creation power has only been used by Grun to make replacement clothes for Cain, one time in Metafalss' Binary Field. Grun also uses that power, for buffing up his body to become stronger and to withstand harsh environments (such as the Blast Line).
Besparonos' power is limited by the wielder's imagination. Besparonos can even make a new world, but not without an equivalent trade of life force.
When the wielder's body does not have enough life force to use Besparonos' alchemy (for instance, when creating a new world), it is also possible to trade other things. For insance life force from other people (similar to Goku's spirit bomb), or raw materials.
All uses require a trade, but some trades (body buffing, creating clothes, etc) are so minor that you can ignore them.
Besparonos has 10 levels. The wielder starts at the first level, but can through training, slowly level up Besparonos' power.
When Besparonos' wielder dies, it reverts to Vonizio, and must be re-tamed.
Naravana
Originally Ragcolf's sword, Being forged by Ragcolf using the essence of both heaven and hell, it is able to withstand Vonizio (which can cut just about anything else). This sword is what allowed Ragcolf to survive in his fight against Vonizio.
Naravana must accept a person before they can wield it. Otherwise, Narvana turns to dust, and will go back to either Void Space or the afterlife.
Naravana, like Besparonos also has 10 level.
Ragcolf gave this sword to Grun, after he battled with Grun against Vonizio.
If this sword and Besparonos are used together in their full power, all opposition will be defeated.
The weakness of this sword is that it requires a constant flow of lifeforce. Grun can only use this sword for a short time. When Ragcolf uses this sword, he is forced to return to the afterlife shortly afterwards.
