The player chooses [New Game]. The screen goes black, and pauses for loading.
MUSIC: Doubt
The scene fades in. Knights are standing on the right side, in front of a burning house. One of them is holding a pink-haired girl. There is a white-haired old man with a round blue gem in his head. Opposite to them stands a big man with a sword, a small girl with black hair, and a blonde woman with a bun in her hair.
??? (old man): You've caused me a great deal of trouble. Just 3 years old, huh? How sad.
LUCA (small girl): Give back Leyka!
Luca runs at one of the knights, and he knocks her flying back. She lands on her back next to the man and woman.
LUCA: Yah!
The woman (Reisha) Rushes to Luca's side.
REISHA: Luca!
BATZ (man): Have you no pity!?
??? (old man): Obstacles must be removed. It's the most rational way of thinking.
BATZ: ...Grr...
BATZ: ...Take Luca and run away.
Reisha's face shows surprise.
BATZ: Hurry!
REISHA: A-alright!
LUCA: Daddy!
REISHA: Luca, we have to run!
LUCA: Daddy! Please don't die!
Reisha runs away with Luca.
LUCA: Daddy!
BATZ: Now... Give back Leyka!
??? (old man): *grinning evilly* You know that's impossible. This child is infected with I.P.D.
???: It's a very high quality one. I've never seen such a pure infection.
???: We must closely examine this...for the future of the world.
BATZ: What are you going to do with my daughter!?
???: Don't worry, we won't kill her or anything.

Bats swings his sword with a "swish", and the screen pans up as the scene changes.
MUSIC: Lamplight

REISHA: This should be...far enough... *huff* *huff*
LUCA: Leyka... Daddy...
REISHA: ...Luca.
LUCA: Leyka... I couldn't protect you...
LUCA: I'm sorry Leyka... I'm so sorry. Please forgive me.
REISHA: ......
REISHA: You did a really good job today.
REISHA: You're a wonderful big sister...
REISHA: Don't worry... Daddy will bring Leyka back.
LUCA: ...Really?
REISHA: Yes, of course.
REISHA: Luca, Daddy is really strong.
LUCA: ...Yeah.
REISHA: ...So, don't worry.
REISHA: Luca...?
LUCA: ......

The screen slowly pans up, revealing more of Ar Ciel's purple moon. Then, fades to black. The introduction movie plays, and a mural of the Goddess in front of Metafalss is shown.

The screen shows a large statue of the Goddess, in Pastalia, near to waterfalls, and zooms out.
