This is the visual novel based on Dexas' fanfic, Ar tonelico: An Ordinary Life.
The visual novel, powered by Ren'Py, tells the story of a boy who goes to school with Ar tonelico characters, and their adventures.
The latest version of the game (released on 5 February, 2010) contains chapters 1 to 6.

You can download the latest version of the game here.
Game updater
If you have a recent version of the game (any game with chapter 6 or later), you can run the game updater program to fetch just the new files:
1) Go into the game folder (where the AnOrdinaryLife EXE file is)
2) Double-click on the "game_updater.bat" program file.
A black DOS window will pop up and start downloading new files.
3) Wait for the "Press any key to continue" prompt to appear
4) Press ENTER
The game should now be up to date. Any old files were moved to "backup", in case you need them. You can safely remove the "backup" directory if you want to recover some harddrive space.
Chapter 6
This is the long-awaited sequel to Chapter 5's cliff-hanger.
In this chapter Main fights the A.B.R. that he encountered at the end of Chapter 5. There are also a few scenes with Misha later on.
How to play chapter 6:
1) Download the latest version of the game.
2) Go to the Chapters screen from the main menu
3) Click on the "Chapter 6" button
4) Have fun

Extra CGs
Nironeru has generously started drawing some artwork for the game. There is a CG in Chapter 6, but there are also some CGs added to earlier chapters that are worth checking out:
- Chapter 2: Play through to the end of Chapter 2, where Main visits Song Stone park with Aurica.
- Chapter 3: Play through Chapter 3, up until Main talks to Shurelia in the classroom.
You can use the new Chapters menu to jump quickly to the start of chapters 2 & 3, so you can quickly reach the new CGs.

Help
The game has a lot of useful shortcuts, for things like loading and saving your game, making screen captures, and so on.
