No, it's not. Probably localizers messed the order up. The picture is off. for level 6 there should be one that is displayed for the next level «absolute girlfriend» instead. Likewise, background for level 7 is the one shown for «blank score lullaby» in the extra menu. Since one can replay them from this very extra meny, it's easy to check.

I kind of see what you mean. I was in a translation project once, with a goal to make a trulyworthit™ Haibane Renmei translation. We used to argue over every single word in every sentence, and we spent more than 1 year to polish that. But when I watched the film, I actually never cared much about the exact lines, I was just absorbing all about it, and since the film was good, the whole picture didn't need all the words much at all. Maube it's just me, but I think normally people are like this, and they don't go into subtlieties much if the whole thing speaks for itself. Except, f course, for those who do care a lot, but they aren't a majority of the audience.

Actually, I don't quite get all this NISA Hate Club thing ^^; I've seen so many horrific translations of japanese media, both amateur and professional ones, that NISA's localization gets a well-deserved grade A from me (considering how much of non-trivial concepts translators did have to face, that's even amazing it came out so good). Most arguable points (like namings) are minor, actual mistakes are almost non-existent, style is good enough to not notice it.
Their attitude is inexcusable, though. When bugs pop up, you don't roll up excuses and leave it to fans to discovers 'how to defeat a boss in 2 turns', you do something about issues at hand and at least beta-test your products.

Which reyvateil´s route should I choose? Does it matter?
Melody_Light wrote:but honestly, what doesn't get changed in translation? The Japanese love word play, and once it gets translated, that humor gets lost. As for characters' personalities, well, I've seen a WHOLE lot worse.

As far as I know, you'll encounter the event on anyone's route.
