Final Fantasy XIII, plus it's sequel, is fast paced. Said completion excludes Omega-chan though.

Omega's Wave Cannon is deadly, but... it's a one-off (more like double-edge...?). That's your biggest chance to dismantle him to the old civilization whence he came.
Remember the Hyper Beam (ya know, the one in Pokemon...)? It's enemy gains 2 turn after it goes off. Since XIII-2 is real time, the party got many turns instead of two. That said, there's no better chance to release the One-Off ATB Skill than that one. (the Ultima Arrow)

Okay, I admit, it's pretty short really. Because like its prequel, it's don't have an alloy plot (where RPGs throws some optional stuffs into an otherwise linear plot)

On a whim, I tried out bloodrayne: betrayal.

While i'm sure it's a one way ticket to pissing off fans of the previous games, I really like this one. Reminds me of NinjaWarriors on the SNES, which didn't get half the credit it should have.

Besides, nothing like a good beat-em-up after a hectic day.

P.S. unrelated, but I think non-linear gameplay is overrated.

Doing a Jack-of-all-trades run in Kingdoms of Amalur. skyrim may be getting all the accolades (which are more worthless than a grammy), amalur has proven itself to be a more fun game to play.

Pausing on Hyperdimension Neptunia for a while to wrap things up with Disgaea 4. Badass vampire is badass, even though he's not the Twilight-type.

Still playing Amalur, one level away from unlocking the Universalist destiny.....might play a pure rogue sometime down the line.

I'll say it again, we need more PC-style computer RPGs like this and less like the Bioware & Bethesda show.
