Basically if you download Japanese DLC you can't use it with a US version game, and so on. It will not show up in the game unless it is from the same region. The games themselves are region free, but they will only read DLC from their own region. You also need multiple accounts to get DLC from multiple regions, but you can access it from all accounts on the PS3.

That said, I heard there are risks for using multiple accounts on a single PS3...

No, there isn't any. You'll need to fake a Japanese address when making a JPN PSN account though.

I have mine set up that way yes, with two user accounts. One for Japan and one for America. I have all my save files in one user account, however I suppose you could keep all your Japanese save files in the user account you use to access the JP PSN and all your English save files in the user account you use to access the NA PSN. Sure it's kind of a waste to have two accounts, but it will allow access to the Japanese PSN and NA PSN, with everything you download from either being accessible from both user accounts. I'd check youtube for vids showing how to do this in case things have changed since I did this.

Nash wrote:You can use any email provider for all regional accounts, so there is no need to limit yourself to Japan-based ones, unless there's another reason for that.
As for addresses, I just use famous landmarks that provide their full address on their homepage.![]()
They never bother verifying these things, lol.

Even if it includes "White House" in its name? Just kidding...![]()

Speaking of cards, any recommended online stores for all the available regions? Too many stores are selling them for up to 1/3 more of their real value...

This. eBay is the be all end all answer to questions like this.

Gift cards from major credit card companies would work too.
