Because he's really strong, even though he's like, what, almost twice Rorona's age... Ordinary people becomes physically weaker as they age beyond adulthood, but it's the opposite for Gio.

Yeah, indeed. Otherwise, I wouldn't have been jealous on Gio. I mean, maybe Sterk had bested him in strength, but his agility is in a different league than all other Atelier Arland characters. Any ordinary people would have cracked their bone pulling that kind of stunt at his age, honestly. There's a number of boss battle vids out there that shows his prowess in battle.

Finally a game that actually recognises the prowess of the veterans.

It's more like they look younger than they actually is, If I had little info about this game, I would've believed that they're in their 30s or so.

Not only Gio, but Sterk is playable in Atelier Meruru too, He look's scarier than ever though. At least he has the super deadly "Excalibur" move. Slays the purple moon, even.
