How many PS3 Titles do you have?

I dunno if anyone else have made a topic like this, but I brought a lot of PS3 games lately since around June, and before I realized it, I have spent over 2100MYR = 674USD (twice the market price of PS3) for the titles alone. I know this is kind of an advertisement for others to interview me, but I wondered if anyone else have as much PS3 titles as I do.

I guess that's about the reason for my post.

Eleven. One fully completed (guess what), four beaten normally, two on hold due to various reasons, four dropped and will probably never pick up again.

I'm still undecided whether getting the platform was even a good decision.
Especially compared to how many titles I own for its predecessor-platforms.

But, ah, well. I did get it first and foremost for Tilia-sama... so...

Since Gust is killing off Ar tonelico, maybe it's time to retire.

The first few peoples here got more title than I thought, eh? Well, not that I was suprised. If you brought like, 5 to 6 PS3 titles, you may have very well spent more for these games than PS3.

And Sword, I can't claim to know how your local market goes, but if there's a game title you really want out in the market, I'd advice you to buy it ASAP without waiting for PS3 itself, You may have to pay more, but it's better than that game selling out. I did that for the first two PS3 titles.

Still, if I buy PS3 now, it feels like I am wasting money. With that amount of money, I can buy a brand new PC with good specs. And seeing that I feel kinda same level of satisfaction playing ASCII roguelikes compared with most console RPGs, say, Final Fantasy series, well....

It would be great if every console game I want were ported to PC....

Then AT3 is your top priority. I never see another AT3 in the local market since my copy.

Still, if I buy PS3 now, it feels like I am wasting money. With that amount of money, I can buy a brand new PC with good specs. And seeing that I feel kinda same level of satisfaction playing ASCII roguelikes compared with most console RPGs, say, Final Fantasy series, well....

You can wait for that if your old PC is working fine. I'd personally recommend a state-of-the-art laptop or tablet that complies with Mobile High Performance if you have thick enough wallet (about USD1174 or so). Might be expensive, but that'll save you from needing another for awhile.

No, absolutely no way, PC grants almost no protection to their game titles. Not only GUST and NISA, but almost all the game developers across the world would go bankrupt if they do that.

Let's see what I have...
- Ar tonelico III/Qoga. Both JP and NA releases lol
- Dragon Age Origins UE and Dragon Age II SE. I don't even know why, since the PC releases are superior. I kinda agree with Sword here, since whenever a game is multiplatform with PC, the consoles will always lose out.
- Valkyria Chronicles. Fun, but then they make the sequels not for PS3. VC3 onwards seems like they will remain JP only after all.
- LBP GOTY, LBP2. The first was fun with its online multiplayer, but the sequel wasn't up to mark, I'd say.
- Catherine. Not bad, but where's my PS3 proper SMT/Persona dammit.
- Atelier Rorona. Tiny fonts are tiny. I actually enjoyed Annie more, the more I think about it.
- Disgaea 3. Considering the entire DLC library is worth more than a new copy of the game, I say lol. Why are the greater SRPG franchises shunning this console LOL
- Eternal Sonata, was beautiful.
- I got Suikoden off PSN when it was on discount a while back lol. Too bad they are hell bent on straying off the One True Way and make parallel world and time travel spins-off for handheld instead.
- I also have those other titles that they gave out during the PSN Welcome Back offer. Haven't tried any of them yet though.
- I'm thinking of picking up Dynasty Warriors some time, but that's really an afterthought lol

Any other recommendations along similar lines then?
I don't mind trying something new either, since that's what got me into LBP, etc.

I vouch for Hyperdimension Neptunia and Ace Combat Assault Horizon. I don't recommend the latter for FPS haters though.

And then, of course, there's Trinity Universe as well.

I don't play any of those, btw. I mostly play PS3 exclusive games.

FYI, I've already clocked over 160 hours for the game itself, saved in a single save file (I do periodic backups whenever I reach a turning point)

Are they PS3 demos?

no, ISOs, they fill up a 500G hard drive (I replaced the PS3's default one)

...but I can't say I've played all of them either, the list of super awesome must-play games for PS3 [and 360] is quite short, I find that way more time is spent on the PSP and DS and consoles are mostly for online multiplayer
Its no RPG/Platformer heaven like the PS2, sadly =(



As for Disgaea 4, I'm 80 hours in and have already done everything there is to do [unlock LoC, perfect level R40s, dupe like crazy, max levels, kill stuff] except grind 300% aptitudes...I can't imagine it would be much fun to spend another 80 hours doing chara world over and over... but Trinity Universe I was fed up with just finishing the story =/
