recent events are really hurting her rep and i didn't read the text in there but from the blog title, it seems like she has been blacklisted/kicked-out of her career completely

My, how far the original Suzumiya Haruhi has fallen. As much as I'd love to feel sorry for her I can't. She brought everything onto herself. Her awful decisions and her attention whore attitude have led to her self destruction.

Okay hearing a lot of rumors around here about Hirano's retirement.

1. Hirano wants to move on with her career, she wants to do different things, what's wrong with that? Is she suppose to stay an anime voice actress forever? Also I've heard that a lot of her fans are getting increasingly creepy. Such as one man making death threats against her would she ever get a boyfriend, and that one man who was arrested for threatening to harm her and blow up Fuji TV.

Yeeah I'd get away from that bull shit as well. I don't see how Aya is being selfish, just because she doesn't want to spend her life voicing a shallow terrible selfish bitch with no regard for others I mean Haruhi, and pandering to her fans. So she's shutting the fanclub down? She has every right too.

Also according to ANN she's already found a new agency to work with.


2. I read somewhere that Aya has a brain tumor, it's not malignant but the surgery to remove it will permanently alter her voice, and she's been barred from doing new roles because of this.

What I read elsewhere stated that she chose to quit the agency on her own, and also shutdown the fan club on 'her site'.
Personally, my opinion of her is fairly neutral; she's an ok voice actress, not the best, and I'm not particularly fond of her singing voice; but I'd much rather see her grow up and stop acting immature then to be boycotted by the public.
As for the brain tumor, I'm not sure where you read that, but it sounds like a rumor that someone started to put her down; though if she does have one, I hope that things will go ok for her.

Actually I liked her seiyuu work alot, definitely a unique character sound...but her singing ability has been doubtful, although her recordings sound good [with digital correction and enhancement], have you heard her sing lives? Holy crap she goes off pitch so much
She should just stick with what she's good at [voice acting, not singing], but I guess it wasn't good enough for her =/
