Archived from the abyss of time, was once a great war with an unlimited outcome. Two ancient civilizations of Ar Near stemmed to power, each seeking glory and a pact of harmony with their goddess. One side delved into technological innovations, a defilement to the gods, yet likened by the goddess. The other side succumbed to further enhancing their Song Magics, living to coexist in more perfect harmony with nature that the goddess had enjoyed. As the war progressed for generations, the level of technology and power on both sides grew at frighteningly speed. The Kavaria developed mass units called "Blitzers." Agile, twenty-foot mechs with various weapons and unit packs. The Morvaro refined their magics and mastered "Soul Harmonics." The ability to enhance costume abilities, make use of one Teru school of magic, and a select few learned how to "posses" Blitzer pilots and even rumored to posses others. The war ended in a draw, as both sides exhausted much of their strengths and natural resources. Famine, civil upheaval, and corruption spread like wildfire, destroying nearly both civilizations. The few that fled from both sides traveled across the seas, searching for a new life with hope in having the goddess's favor.

As time passed by, the refugees whom set aside old hatreds, unified in the harsh new land of Verdona. In time, the population grew steadily, keeping a more medieval fashion of living, with some down-graded version's of a Blizter and Song Magics used in self-defense. The curiosity of the unknown would lead both Humans and Reyvateils into chaos, and one boy is all is needed to set the flames of war back into motion. The tides of change have begun to turn, as old empires crumble, new ones arise. One girl is needed to extinguish the chaos. Can the girl overturn the world, or would the world swallow up the girl? Fate with the girl and the world are in your hands.



Hello and welcome to ARM: Wearequewie Infel, Alroetsue Infel. The RP is structured to be railroaded for the first seven chapters, introducing storyline elements, and the main feature of the RP, Peer influence. Each RPer can in some way influence the main heroine into thinking or doing a certain way, if more than one RPer encourages a particular thought or feeling, the greater the impact on the heroine. The story becomes open-ended, based on the decisions of the RPers and the actions of the main heroine.

The RP is rather adventurous, limiting the number of Rpers to join sadly. This RP can support roughly 6 people, though I'm willing to squeeze in a couple more in, if interested.


Features:

- Peer Influence: RP mechanic to influence the thoughts or feelings of the main heroine, creating an open-ended storyline.

- Heroine Advance: Some events are triggered by the heroine's words or actions, advancing the storyline and creating new situations and challenges.

- Advance classes, Blitzer Pilot and Soul Harmonist: Once each storyline element are introduced, each RPer can decide which path to follow. Advance classes are not determined by which starter class is chosen.

- Class challenges: Some chapter events favor one particular starter class over another. A few examples of challenges are: escort missions, ruin searching for artifacts, ballroom dancing espionage, and good o' exploring for finding answers.

- Item Synthesizing: At certain points in the storyline, RPers have a chance to synthesize (AT1 or AT2 style) useful consumable items or equipment they can bring into the next or future battle(s). Some items created are better served for some certain chapter events, such as the Ballroom espionage event.


Starter Classes:

Warrior (Human/RT/Teru), Knight (Human/RT), Songstress (RT/Teru only), Rogue (Human/Teru), Ranger (Teru/Human)

Common skills: Pick 6 skills you like to have that belongs to the starter class/race chosen. Songstress (RT) have access to lvl 1-7 (depending on character development) Song Magics. Songstress (Teru) has access to school of magic chosen.

Advance skills: Pick 4 skills you like to have that belongs to the starter class chosen. Support and Healing magics fall into this category. Advance classes have additional skills (2-6 additional skills), depending on the class. Story elements may give suggestions for possible skills to use or create new ones, when advance classes become available.

Advance Classes

Blitzer Pilot and Soul Harmonist

Any starter class can become either advance class. Some minor exceptions do apply, such as:

- Human and Teru Harmonists do not have Costume abilities.

- Teru Harmonist will have access to two schools of Teru magic. One from the starter class and the second from the advance class.


Rules of the RP

To ensure a more enjoyable RP experience, all RPers must adhere to these common rules among RPs.

- This RP requires using semi-formal/semi-Lite (more emphasis on sentence and paragraph structure if able) for all role-players to follow.

- The RP is to be written in English. Only Hymmnos can be used by Songstresses and RTs on occasion, so long as the message is not offensive to another RPer.

- God-moding and auto-playing are restricted and discouraged from this RP.

- Canon characters are restricted and discouraged from this RP.

- Over-powered characters are strongly discouraged in this RP.

Appearance: Kinda scruffy looking guy but has a charming smile to him none the less. Medium build, honey eyes and 3 stripes drawn along his right cheekbone like warpaint. Dusty blond hair with a few streaks of red and brown to it that falls around his face. Wears a longish green coat though has a habit of pushing the sleeves up, black hooded top under it with the hood worn outside of the coat. Trousers and boots, plus wraps around his hands and forearms. Hooks his weapons into the belt loops of his coat.

Height: 5' 11'
Weight: 155 lbs.
Occupation: Courier/escort/explorer

Starting Class: Ranger
Preferred Weapon: Pair of weapons connected by a retractable/detachable cord. One is a big pistol crossbow/catapult with a blade to the front edge and knuckle dusters to the grip, and the other a medium sized blade on a 3 foot staff, which can also be launched using the bow.
Common Skills:
- Eagle Eye : Taking aim to increase the chances of hitting, and the damage done with the next attack. Comboed with his analyse skill to be even more effective.
- Quick Shot: Distance attack with his crossbow, firing multiple shots
- Long Shot : fires his spear using the bow for a single, stronger attack. Some knock-back effect
- Rush : Charges in and delivers a flurry of attacks against one opponent.
- Bolt Rain : Leaps over his opponent, firing on them as he does, then follows up with a single close melee attack before jumping back
- Blade Storm : A more advanced version of the above, finishing his shooting with a Long Shot in mid air and using the cord of the spear to launch himself at the opponent and follow things up with a melee combos and close range fire. Caps it off with a strong knock-back attack.


Advance Skills:
- Analyse : Observation skill, for picking out statuses, strengths and weaknesses and weak points.
- Camo : Uses his terrain to his advantage, for cover, hiding and so on.
- Run away! : Good at putting some distance between his party and the enemy
- Quick draw : Quick to pull out and use items.

Chaude: let me know if a chara like this will work for this environment. i wonder if i perhaps made her a bit too "techy"....but nevertheless song magic is still of a technical nature, so... :^^;:

and even if she won't work so well for this rp, i still had fun creating her. :3

Plain, conservative sleeveless cream-colored tunic top. Grey cargo shorts that extend past the knee. Flat, simple shoes. Short brown hair that's always a bit messy. Grey eyes. Pale skin. Not very shapely. Chronically chewed fingernails. Carries a satchel full of books and notes everywhere. Doesn't pay much attention to her outward appearance, so looks sloppy, plain and unadorned for a Reyvateil. Sometimes will put small clips with dangling geometric shapes in her hair on either side of her head to make herself look a bit more "Reyvateil-ish". Has a rather geeky persona but contrary to the stereotype, does *not* wear glasses.

Preferred Weapon: Heavy satchel loaded with books. Equipped with extensible chain for greater reach and momentum.

Common Skills:
$$Enemy{'HP'}*=1-rand(); - [Random Assignment] - Basic attack; reduces opponent's health by a random percentage (assumed to be a low percentage just to make things fair).
SHR ax,1 - [Logical Shift] - Displaces and corrupts opponent's local physical space, causing physical damage.
Bitwise Operation - Hacks opponent's stat values to make them lower.
INT 3 - [Breakpoint Exception] - Stops opponent's attacks/movements for a brief period of time.
for ( ; ; ) - [Loop] - Forces opponent to repeat previous action.
Recursion - Causes opponent's attack to rebound upon him/her/itself an infinite number of times, however, with exponentially decreasing efficacy, such that after a duration of 5 time constants the effect becomes negligible for all practical purposes.

Advance Skills:
++ - [Auto-increment] - Basic heal.
VM - Creates a virtual self to absorb the opponent's attack.
EXEC sys.dbms_stat_ail.FLUSH(); - Clears status ailments.
Costume: "Totally Loli...ta" - A frilly and very girly costume. Embarrassing to wear. But deep down, she kinda likes it. Increases her H-wave power and ability to harmonize.
