Global warming is being blown out of proportions by media -_- And even if global warming were as serious as depicted in the movie, it would be totally impossible to change the climate so rapidly...

Nope. The highest concenrtaion of hail falls in the world are in the central plains in the US (actually that area holds nearly all thunderstorm related world records) in Spring & Summer. In that time, the daytime temperature can range from 50 to 100 plus degrees. The surface temperature is semi-irrelevant, unless it's contributing to the inherent instability causing the storm. Though, if it's too cool, thunderstorms strong enough to generate hail can't form.

Yup~ Sorry for any confusion there. I couldn't even imagine it being 50 to 100 Celsius. Skin melts somewhere in that range.

of course...but its still a fact global warming made the earth warmer...like...now...X_X it actually used to be so much cooler...and there used to be a huge pile of ice ranging off the coast of Russia all the way to the north pole i think...it used to be all ice...now its all water...
