After getting bored with Rakshek Resort, I finally decided to make a personal interview thread, where I will answer virtually any question directed to me.

I will answer all my questions at varying tone of seriousness; some I will answer seriously, while others may be given a half-kidding answer, so don't get mad when answers don't go the way you want it.

1) What's your favorite subject in school?
2) Croix, Lyner and Aoto go into a bar. Who comes out trashed, and who comes out footing the bill?
3) Cloche, Tilia, and Lyner go on an advertising binge for their favorite mascots. Who spends the most money on advertising, and who wins the "Best Mascot Ever" award?
4) What's your favorite activity when you're dodging schoolwork?
5) You are stranded in the Wings of Horus with Aurica, Tilia, and Cloche. Who do you trust to feed you until help comes?

1. Diviega chs pauwel - My favorite subjects is the one most important in life, especially to myself. The term school is outdated to me now, by the way.
2. Aoto, of course will become a drunkard, And Croix most likely will be the one footing the bill, since Lyner chickened out, Croix won't be able to pay the expensive bill, so Cloche pays with a "credit card" in his place.
3. Of course Cloche... if only Luca will hold her back, so Tilia's the runner up. It depends on who is the mascot, but Clusternia has big advantage. After all, there are quite a number of bishoujos there to choose from.

I will dodge schoolwork no longer, to not to fail my father, my mom, and myself due to a "contract", but I will tell what I do after school instead; Staring at computer monitor (or phone screen) ...listening to the J-pop "Eternal Blaze", my right hand shifting between keyboard and mouse...stuff like that, I tries to do my work as efficently as possible, but it often backfires... (is it because of my inexperience?)
5. Tilia, of course. I trust pure Reyvateils more than mere humans. Plus, assuming Reyvateil brain is made of oro (i.e. never corrodes), older people means more wisdom.

Akane is a powerful shogun, as we all know, so she's the frontline knight. Cynthia and Spica can act as their support, the former protects Infel (does she even need protection?) while the latter can heal and debuff enemies with her poisonous weapons. Infel works in the back with microphone as her weapon because her joke can cut down an entire army, LOL.

Uh, wait, I think should choose Sasha instead... (the entire party is frozen by Infel's jokes)

6. Now assemble a similar team out of all characters, including playable ones.

Croix, Aoto, Amarie, Saki

Croix because he can subdue any enemy with a "Cross Slayer" Croix is French for cross... at least in Google... Aoto because he is Saki's best support. Amarie because her Teru powers can invoke great miracles (more specifically, can heal the entire party in a flash) Saki because if I chose anyone else, the enemy would keep coming at them, Her cake miracles are terrifying enough that anyone who sees them will retreat in most case, not to mention human males will let their guard down if they saw Saki's cute body (I'm sorry, Saki...).

7. If there are other playable characters not in your team, why did you choose to ignore them?

Cocona is out because she's better off solo, Leglius is out because he's too bulky, Hikari is out because fundoshi can be quite impairing in battle, Aurica and Luca is out because if the vanguards side with them, they morale would be burn away as fast as a candle, not to mention how bloodthirsty the two can be. Mir is out because she likes to go naked. Cloche is out because she's too busy with Metafalica. As for Misha, she belongs to Lyner, so she won't go anywhere if Lyner isn't nearby. Finnel is too clumsy and the Origins can be clueless about things. As for Tilia... well, she needs her actual body.

8. If you go Synchronity format and have 2-vanguards-and-2-Reyvateils, what would the team be like?

Croix, Aoto, Luca, Saki for best pairing from both worlds.

Luca can protect Saki with her Flipsphere, and Saki can synch with Aoto instead, creating a grand yet devastating storm of light as Combo Magic, assuming one person sings and other simply channels emotion to the singer. Luca and Saki's combo Magic would be a Metafalica meteor storm.

9. Describe how the Infelsphere would work for those 2 Reyvateils...

Level 3 and 4 won't be as interesting. After all, Luca and Saki love different persons, not to mention they don't really have that many odds. Level 5 might be the most interesting however, but I just can't tell the reason here.

10. Think the series would be as successful if the gender roles are switched, and only males can be Reyvateils?

It won't be as successful, even if it is starred by Saki as an eroge. Besides, male Reyvateil's Cosmosphere can be scary... if you know what i mean...

11. How would you go about marketing Chalon de Trois as the greatest Arcielan invention? Perhaps a hymn is in order?

As a food menu in imperial prison with a Hymn similar to Tarifa. That way, the Chalon de Troix becomes a favorite amongst the prisoners, while at the same time teaches the people not to commit crime, for it's first is the worst.

12. Least favourite season?

Sol Eternia don't have seasons. If anything, summer and rainy, The latter is least favorite.

13. The worst first impression you have made on someone you have met for the first time in real life?

Looks like you ran into a bug, Nash. I simply can't give an answer satisfactory enough to justify your question. As a replacement. I will tell you one interesting trivia ...if YOU can read it.

It won't be as successful, even if it is starred by Saki as an eroge. Besides, male Reyvateil's Cosmosphere can be scary... if you know what i mean...

But not everyone knows what you meant there... details might help, maybe?
If they are that scary, do describe a suitable girl to become its lead protagonist!

OK. For the trick question, let's reverse that last one:
In your experience, what has been the worst first impression that others have made to you then?

1. I prefer "dairy milk" chocolates. As for the Reyvateil that best fits the description, it would be Luca Truelywaath.

2. Grown up Misha in her cheongsam (Chinese woman traditional dress). Now, I can't really imagine any Reyvateils in their loli form. Even if I did and can draw as good as Kishimoto-san or Nagi-san, their apperance would be terribly distasteful.

3. Unfortunately, he wasn't given enough spotlights to shine too brightly.

4. I'm afraid Targana and Chester simply isn't good enough a character to be included in the party. The former pales to Croix, while the latter is ...a pervert?

5. No, she had successfully make jokes out of her Song. The problem is, she can't control where her joke goes, After all, she's an IPD Queen, so she may have some special privelages that only she can access. This has resulted in her icy jokes being even stronger than her Infel Phira Song Magic, but the downside is it freezes foe and friends alike, and anyone else who survived that would laugh themselves to death.

6. The party's survivability would be drastically reduced if Akane were there in Amarie's stead, As for reason not having her taking Croix's place is that Aoto tends to go out of control and tend to force purge Saki at the wrong time, so it would be best for Croix to look out for him. The rest of the NPCs don't quite qualify, Especially since Sasha is weaponless.

8. Aurica can't really control her Cosmosphere, and that's not to mention my reluctance to bring Lyner into the battlefield, so naturally Misha is out of question, As for Shurelia, if for some reason she get lost in Metafalss or Sol Cluster, chances are, she might get herself killed by the monsters there, which essentially assures the party's demise. Perhaps the entire party would be far more powerful in terms of strength if Cocona replaced Luca, but her synch rate with Infel Phira is nowhere as high as Cloche, which lowers their overall survivability if Aoto and Croix had expended their strength.

9. Luca might pass Saki's love life as a mere fantasy, but in the end they'll make up. As for Level 4, Saki won't have too much problem with Luca, it is likely that Luca is giving all the troubles to Saki, given their personality. As for Level 5, I just can't say it here, neither do I want anyone else blurt it out here. I'll have to PM someone else to answer you and talk things out in my stead if you insists.

10. Saki is the only one eligble to be the leading protagonist, Cosmosphere-wise. Others are simply too reluctant, and as for the two Origins, too artificial to even qualify as an eroge protagonist. Misha don't fall into either category, but if she leads, then it would be a mere imitation of Tales series due to the lack of harem. Now, you don't really need to worry much about Lyner, but I can hardly say the same with Croix. If all three male protagonist has a Cosmosphere, Aoto's probably the most dangerous out of all three, though.

12. It would be the opposite. After all, your umbrella won't work in such a case. Your shelter would also be completely drenched in rain, so your electronic gadgets and equipments would be in constant danger of malfunction. Plus, if the antigravity effect is strong enough, being exposed to water droplets going upwards may pierce a human skin like Indra's arrows, inflicting great injuries to the living animals within the area.

13. ...When I mistakenly entered an Onsen when the bishoujos take their baths... My "thing" was squezzed out till there's naught left. I saved all that up for my girlfriend... but it's completely ruined...
...actually, that never ever happened in my life, It's just something I thought out to save Shurelia's my skin, Don't take that one seriously, okay?

1. If you could only pick 1 person in the ENTIRE Ar Tonelico series cast to be your best friend, who would it be? Why would you choose that person?

2. Which region of Ar Ciel (past or present) would you pick to live in?

3. Of the canon Notes, which do you prefer more?

4. Three Reyvateils are fighting! Which servers are they from and how are you going to solve the conflict?

1. For my best friend, I'd say Frelia, She would be a great help for a vagrant like me, with her wings or without. I'd say I will take Saki out of all casts in Ar tonelico series as my waifu, though.

2. I have only played AT2... so...

3. Ancient Metafalss Note. I have more frequently used words in Central though.

4. ...Eolia from Elemian Ar tonelico against Akane and Tilia from Ar tonelico Harvestasya. Either way, Saki and Frelia will put a stop to this madness through their Combo Magic; the Metafalica Omega: an Ar Ciela dependant Song Magic similar to Deva Pain's Chibaku Tensei, trapping all three in a giant, floating boulders of rocks (like a miniature moon).

You can ask my opinion about Exa Pieco, Midgit-san.

1. An IPD and a Clusterian are arguing who's more power and are destroying the area around them, much to the annoyance of their Vanguards who are looking to you to solve the problem. How do you get them to stop singing long enough to do this and how? Who's side do you take, if any? Are both satisfied or is one upset?

2. If you could swap bodies with any of the AT cast, who would it be, and why?

3. Pick a tower to live in. Why did you pick this tower and what do you do for a living?

4. What was the first video game system you ever played on?

Sorry for being late, I was busy with my first assignments...

1. Could you mean Cocona and Akane? If so, I prefer to simply watch how the battle concludes, If things gets worse, then I'll have to petition either Listea or Eolia to stop the war.

2. Aoto, cause I'm kinda jealous on him being able to hang out with the three purelineage Reyvateils.

3. I prefer to be "born" instead of "transferred" to the Tower of Frelia. In Rakshek, I'll be a chef or an inn keeper. In Pastalia, I'll be a Grand Bell Knight.

4. A catridge-based console (dunno the name). The games is very hard compared to PS3 games though, not to mention lack of save data and story plot. The second console I brought is Playstation 2, but the Dualshock 2 analog stick is broken after years of use. I have invested on Playstation 3 last year, and was planning to equip it with 4G wireless connection for lagless online gaming next year, once my "contract" is approved.

Hardly read much. I would like to be able to read Aquagon-sempai's fanfiction someday.

This is the continuation of our conversation in L-Voss-san's interview thread.

Really? I'm not watching any Shonen stuff, such as One Piece, Naruto, or Bleach. This is another weird coincidence... Is it really that similar?

The Stygian Knights are essentially monsters with the hearts of men. An individual who have died temporarily and returned to life, or suffered a near-death experience, and bonded with a wraith, an embodiment of an aspect of death, to become something more than mortal. In other words, the Stygian Knights can transform into a fearsome monster and vice versa. They can speak with the dead, walk their roads, and command the powers of death just like them. They are the champions of death. Furthermore, the archetype that a wraith taps into is always tainted by death in some fashion. For example, there are no "wraiths of fire" because fire by itself doesn't carry the resonance of death. However, there are wraiths of death by being burned alive or wraiths of death by explosions. Because of this, wraiths will try to bond with mortals whose method death come for them “matches” their resonance. The aforementioned wraiths of death by being burned alive prefer to bind itself to a man burned alive as a victim of a serial arsonist or a camper caught up in a forest fire than a man who committed suicide by eating his own gun. A wraith's archetype is also not just limited to the method death come. It can be more abstract. For example, the Headless General, the wraith that bind itself to Gustave, represents the grief that comes when someone unable to fulfill his/her duties because of a premature death. It binds itself to Gustave because it can sense that Gustave is tormented by the fact that he just leaves his parents and siblings without a provider or a protector.In other words, Gustave's grief attracts it. Not to mention that Gustave is also a hit man, which fits the duties of the Stygian Knights to become the death's lapdogs hit men bounty hunters.

BTW, what type of story do you like, Ar-cen-ciel-san? (I personally like a story that is mature and dark because the "mature" part will make the story not too absurd like a story for younger audience and the "dark" part will make me feel that the protagonist's struggle to make the world a better place is actually important. I still like lighter stories, though. I need to laugh and brighten my day from time to time, after all. I also don't like stories that are too "dark". If there is no redeeming features or nothing worth fighting for, why even bother to fight or watch and care who live and who die? So, you don't have to worry that my story will become too "dark". That kind of "crap" is not going to happen. Heck, you will even realize that even the wraiths are genuinely want to make the world a better place if you can read between the lines, they just a little bad at doing it, which is lamentable.)

BTW, what type of story do you like, Ar-cen-ciel-san?

It's... hard to say. Limiting yourself to just one genre isn't a very good source of information these days. I can conclude this because I decided that I shouldn't be a fool and using the Internet just for Facebook. Partly because of my life experience, I concluded that I'll need every bit of knowledge I could muster. Whether I can actually master them is another question altogether, which is why I take Diploma in Business Information Technology when I have no prior knowledge of economy, accounting and programming. I learn them seriously, or at least, I know that they'll be of great help sometime in my future.

If you asking if I like any particular genre, well, not even I know. I can only tell you my favorite ACG, at least.

My favorite light novel is Infinite Stratos, It's actually pretty easy one to read, if only you can withstand blocks of texts.
I'm currently reading Naruto and Kaminomi zo Shiru Sekai, I didn't actually read the Bleach manga, just a little tidbits on their terminology.

(I personally like a story that is mature and dark because the "mature" part will make the story not too absurd like a story for younger audience and the "dark" part will make me feel that the protagonist's struggle to make the world a better place is actually important. I still like lighter stories, though. I need to laugh and brighten my day from time to time, after all. I also don't like stories that are too "dark". If there is no redeeming features or nothing worth fighting for, why even bother to fight or watch and care who live and who die? So, you don't have to worry that my story will become too "dark". That kind of "crap" is not going to happen. Heck, you will even realize that even the wraiths are genuinely want to make the world a better place if you can read between the lines, they just a little bad at doing it, which is lamentable.)

So, to get things straight, you like mature and dark ones, but not too dark of a story. so you'll never make yours too dark for your taste.
Well, this story I'm writing right now is usually-light hearted slice of life. though I can't say the same starting the second arc and beyond. since beginning from there, people might get disproportional retribution at times, so it can sometimes get as dark as the world wars are (though it won't go as far as having a black sheep in the Academy, or within the nation thereof).

If you ask why, it's because Sol Eternelle (the settings where the Academy is located) is a highly militaristic world, so it's natural for them to lend off their might into others proxy war, even though it's mostly is in "guild-hunting" mission types, where the Academy sends rookie knights into easy missions, and sends one elite knight (or maybe more) on dangerous missions. Basically, Sol Eternelle prefers to be crazy prepared should the Armageddon ever begins.

It's not like there isn't any male characters in the story, It's just that there is none in the Academy. That also means Harumiya will never see a guy until she graduates, The same applies to all undergraduate cadets as well. Also, the reason I designed a BFS-wielding girl for the story is because, BFS-wielding girls are pretty rare in the AMG (Anime, Manga and Games. originally ACG, C stand for comics), not to mention in the Academy. None of the best few elites in the Academy (Kotori is one of them, believe it or not) actually wields a BFS. Plus, I have thought up of this story for a long, long time. Before her, there isn't any girls there with a Moe factor, seriously.

I don't assume that there are no male characters in the story. I assume that as long as there is none in the Academy, male characters will either not appear at all or rarely appear. The focus of the story is in the academy, right?
BFS-wielding heroine is indeed not as common as longsword-or-rapier-wielding heroine. How does she wields her BFS? Does she wields it one-handed like in most stories, two-handed like in the real world (A little advice if she wields it two-handed like in the real world, google the fighting stances and maneuvers of the zweihander wielders from German. Those people actually wield a BFS and deadly with it. Don't forget that the BFS in the real world is not as big as the BFS in fictionland.), or with magic that is recently quite popular in story with magic. (I forgot to ask whether there is magic or not in your story. )

For the first story arc, yes. There is really no need for a maiden who would've been a little baby by human age to know about the opposite sex, since she would be still be struggling to master her BFS, not to mention, her new life in the Academy. Also, she would be referred as Alicia throughout the first arc, since her Japanese given name isn't proposed until she graduates and descends to the human world on missions.
Harumiya's battle style is somewhat reminiscent to Cloud's in Advent Children. Minus the name, she wields the exact same sword as the one Cloud uses in the movie. plus some aether magics and flight skills. There's also the fact that her BFS is actually light to her wielding, but too heavy for anyone else.

As for the magic, yes it does. Only the Academy cadets can handle aether spells effectively though, Other than that, it is possible for the Cadets or any other races to use elemental spells, though humans who can actually do so, is extremely rare.
I have even devised a WMD-class spell modeled after many things, starting with a supernova, F.L.E.I.J.A., Ruinga, Ultima, and GDI Ion Cannon (and even a little inspiration from famous energy blasts such as Kamehameha, Cero, Bijyudama and Chidori)

Side note: Harumiya has a C-cup (which is pretty big by the Academy standard), while Kotori had an A-cup (or even smaller). She wouldn't be angsty if anyone mention that she's a pettanko, but start comparing her's with whoever else with bigger breasts, she'll literally be fueled with anger, swear whoever said that (who would most likely be a human guy) as dogs, and hunt them to the ends of the universe like the dog they were.

That's going to be a great source for comedy. (But, remember to never use it too much. Even the funniest comedy can be not funny if it is used too much.)

I never thought it as a comedy. If you remember that this takes place in a military academy, you'll quickly realize it isn't a comedy (at least to her victims).

Actually, Kotori don't take things well towards anyone who literally disrespects (or plain insults) her cute, loli body, or anywhere thereof (especially her blonde hair, because she is proud of her "beautiful" body). Tell her her godly-crafted body is not pretty, and it won't be a comedy. She'll revert to the cold-blooded personality she had whenever she goes to war, and slices (or burn) anyone that insults her without the slightest hesitation, all to protect her dignity as the battle maiden of beauty (and brutality). Harumiya actually almost triggered it once (lucky that she didn't cross the point of no return), and she even advised the humans not to mention that Kotori's a pettanko and the like, only to fail miserably.
