I'm curious, is anyone going to choose a different starter pokemon, or will you be sticking to the one you had in the last game?

Since the first Gym seems to be Water, I'd go for Snivy. Although the second Gym being Poison would absolutely destroy him...

The challenge is what makes it fun. Like choosing Chikorita in Silver/Soul Silver.

Haxorus vs. Haxorus battle I had at Iris' gym was intense.

I've never cared about version-exclusive 'Mons, and as far as version-exclusive areas go, I prefer the water cave than the magma one. Still can't decide if I should get B2 or W2, though.

New Kamiture/Elesa is even far more sexy than in BW1.

And they are getting REALLY Lazy with making Formes - Keldeo's new Forme looks virtually the same as its normal Forme save for three stupid colored ahogé.

If the same diffences that were present in White transfer to White 2, then I'm sticking with White version all around. This appears to be the case so far.

I hope some Wifi events will be rebroadcast again for White and Black 2. Liberty Garden and the like. If not I got a spare Victini and Zoroark.

NA Conquest is out!

This is one game I am not on pins and needles about.

I liked spin-off games like Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, Pokemon Ranger, and Pokemon Colosseum, but I don't know if I would like Pokemon Conquest. Personally, I'm pretty tired of/not impressed by the feudal Japan looking stuff and I'm worried that the storyline won't be worth me grinning and bearing the setting...

For those who have played the game, do you think it's worth it?

I really, really hate the feudal Japanese theme with a passion, but I still enjoyed the game at least for the main story. It starts out quite fun and simple, but eventually becomes quite challenging and requires some significant grind (which is repetitive as hell). Past the main story, there are a ridiculouston of post-game contents, all of which, however, are incredibly repetitive. At that point, unless you've got a fetish for Japanese warring era, you'll likely drop the game as I did.

The focus is definitely on the warlords and not the Pokémon - the plot is in such a way that even if you remove the 'Mons completely, it'll still make sense. In other words, even if you're an avid Pokémon fan, there's still no harm in passing this title if it doesn't seem attractive for you.

So BW2 got 4 less Famitu score than BW1. Still not bad at all.

I'm still sore from not getting Sengoku Musou 3 PS3... so hopefully Conquest is a decent enough substitute.

I guess I'll skip Conquest then. Thank you, Lazy. I wish Game Freak would release another Pokemon Mystery Dungeon or a more developed version of Pokemon Colosseum. Those games were good.

About the review, it's only four points. That means Black 2 and White 2 will be AWESOME! Hater reviewers gonna hate right?
